Here it is - the series premiere of The Cromcast! (Download mp3 here.)

We certainly hit the ground running with the first episode. We discuss the fictionalized history of Robert E. Howard's Hyborean Age, and the first Conan story "The Phoenix on The Sword", published in the December 1932 issue of Weird Tales. You can find a copy of The Phoenix on the Sword in this excellent collection of Robert E. Howard's Conan tales from Del Ray. It is also available in the Ace paperback titled Conan the Usurper and can be found here. (Links are to Amazon.com, but if you can find them at local book sellers we highly recommend that! Support your local bookstores, by Crom!)

Finally, you can read it for free on the web at WikiSource.

We'll be back in two weeks, and we'll be covering the second published Conan the Barbarian story, The Scarlet Citadel! Read it on WikiSource.
